A ping pong ball is sealed in a long evacuated pipe. When the seal on one end is broken, atmosphere propels the ball through the other end and through a piece of soda bottle label. This demo can be also set up with a motion sensor to calculate final muzzle velocity.

Note: do NOT put tape over the opening of the pipe, as the ping pong ball will not be able to go through. do NOT place ANYTHING in the chamber other than the ping pong ball (lubricants, etc)
